shutup-shelby asked: The picture of river i have in my room, isn't big at all, it's a little rectangle, and wherever i put it, it always flips over,(it's on a paper clip and a string) i keep moving it, but whenever i look, it's flipped over, i think i'm just gonna print a different picture and put it on my wall, since i don't think he likes it xD
Hahaha, maybe it’s one of those “I’m very glamourized here and I don’t like it, that’s not ME” (but hey, I love those ones).
My flat it’s “in progress” yet. The only posters I have are the ones I had in the old house (Michael Madsen in Reservoir dogs, a B/W landscape over my bed, a Victoria Francés vampire behind the door and the Earth seeing from the moon) but I need to finish it, a couple of lamps, a mirror, re-painting again, and then a River poster and a Rob Sheridan illustration :)
Stand by me (1986)
LMAO! I was listening to Simon & Garfunkel’s song A Most Peculiar Man and when they mentioned “Mrs Riordan” I thought “Mrs Reardon”. Jimmy’s momma! You can tell my River obsession is getting pretty strong when it interferes with one of my other obsessions.
Hahaha, you tell me. For example, when I listen to NIN (that is 20h per day ‘cause I’m listening it in my head even when it’s not really sounding) sometimes I think of him (hey, my second husband’s songs are universal… I think of him, of me and of all damaged beings on this planet) so I start “why WHY whyyy?” and my head against the walls, you know xD
Running on Empty (1988)
The Popes are a family who haven’t been able to use their real identity for years. In the late sixties, the parents set a weapons lab afire in an effort to hinder the government’s Vietnam war campaign. Ever since then, the Popes have been on the run with the authorities never far behind. Today, their eldest son wants a life of his own although he is aware that would mean that his parents would either get caught or he will never see them again.

…I don’t consider it a teen movie but OK ;)

Blade Runner vs Running on Empty
These are my favourite films. I can’t say just one. I need two separated lists (rio and not-rio movies) and two pole positions there. I know they are very different type of cinema but I love them with the same intensity :)
Which are your favourite films? Do you have “two lists” like me? :)
Anybody know where I can get some decent River Phoenix posters? I’m not talking about any of those young ‘posy’ ones by the way, I mean the gorgeous, natural looking ones?
There are a few availables on eBay now (from the “posy” ones xD to just movie posters, for example the ROE French one, it’s adorable). A couple of Staedler & Ellison ones: they are photoshoots but hey, they are the best :)
One of the SBM posters: this one is special for me ‘cause it’s from my old ones in paper and even more: I had a B/W copy of this one over my SBM VHS (I had this one from the TV, not original one). So I see this poster and it’s an instant link to my childhood :)
