Movies River should have done (63): Broken Movie
My reasons:
1) It was filmed/released* while he was still alive (yes, this count as a film)
2) It’s one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen.
3) In the line of Cigarette burns (let’s see what you could do to an angel)
4) River liked different & risky projects, with great directors so… extreme one.
5) Über fangirl moment: my husbands, MY HUSBANDS!!! :)~~
* Well, not officially released, IMDb counts it in “non released projects” or weird things (hey, before Dark blood was complete, both were together in that list). You can’t release something like that in a normal way, you know, mainstream market… for obvious reasons.

Another hard one. Probably the biggest scream from Reznot to God, along with “Terrible lie”. Valid for me as a fallen Catholic. Valid for me because I have some Gods that are not here.

TDS vs RP (1): Mr. Self Destruct vs Phoenix
The Downward Spiral is my fav album and I’m in that mood (and hearing it in non-stop loop) so I’m gonna start a series of posts, part of my Phoenix vs Reznor, one song vs him or a character/movie. Just one post per day ‘cause if I do more it can be… too much ;-) But hey, there would be happy ones too (“Closer”, “Big man with a gun”, “A warm place”).

This one is probably one of the hardest (lyrics and sound) and I think it totally fits him (dark sides). Some of you disagree with me in this Mr. Self Destruct image, but I really think it was a part of him, and maybe if he would have embraced in a better way, instead of so much denial, everything would have been better. This song also fits amazingly Mr. Cobain (the gun part I don’t include here). All Mr. Self Destructs, I suppose.
Yes, he was an angel but a fallen one, the eternal angel/devil duality, or Gabriel/Lucifer as Bukowski would say. He was the most beautiful angel and we all know which angel is that. This ended more “religious” that I expected (the pic, not the comment, kinda sacred sheet texture or something, but I also love TDS art.
