IF RIVER WERE A… HÄAGEN-DAZS FLAVOUR

Some of you could say “Cookies & cream”, “Chocolate Midnight Cookies” or “Chocolate Chocolate Chips”, maybe even the lemon sorbet (the yellow factor) but come on, the boy was sweet & fragile but also hard and sometimes a bit dark. He’s “Belgian chocolate”, less milk, more pure & strong flavour.

This is similar to the Granny Smith: once you taste it other chocolates will not work, yeah, other sweet ones out there but… it’s not the same… like him :)

IF RIVER WERE… CLUB MUSIC

After this shit I need to indicate a few that could have been good tributes:

- Oakenfold -“Perfecto presents Another world”: ‘cause is one of the best dance albums ever and hey, Riv was PERFECTO, and yeah, like from another world.

- Tiësto - “Lethal industry”: not because of his “issues” (you, fuckers), because is still the best of My Best, a generational hymn, recognizable, real musical orgasm.

- Zippy - “One confused boy”: harder than what I usually hear nowadays (I’m a baby now, I was a harder one when younger) but really good hard progr-trance, perfect high & perfect piano melody, “make a miracle!”

There is amazing club music. I wish any of the Big Ones (Tiësto, Oakenfold, Van Dyk, Gueta, Van Buuren) dedicate something to him, and not those horrible ones… meh (ah, really, that has been a real trauma, shitty song).

The eternal war: Mozart vs Beethoven.

Yes, Phoenix was a young genius and Mozart died young too. But in my head he’s a Beethoven type. Not just for ROE, Ludwig was here before ROE (in fact Beethoven was probably the only decent music I heard before NIN… ok, along with some scores and 80s ones). It’s because of the kind of music, the contrasts, the extremes… I’m a Beethoven girl so I say Beethoven.

Now is when you say to me: “Fuck Mozart! Fuck Beethoven! He’s a Vivaldi and all his seasons together!”

Although he would probably say he’s a mango (because he loved them and probably because of the Spanish naughty sense too) for me he’s an apple. In concrete, a Granny Smith one.

These apples are like hell. They are sweet but also acid (as him and his comments). And amazingly green (as his eyes). When you taste them for the first time you say: “hey, they are pretty, and taste good”. Then you’re damned: the rest of the apples won’t work for you  ‘cause these ones are The Ones. And you spend the rest of your fucking life eating these fucking apples. And when they aren’t available at market and you have to buy and eat others, you know it’s not the same. Yeah, others can be sweet… but not like these ones. And then you know: you’re a fucking Granny Smith addict. Exactly what happens with him.

BTW, my other husband is an apple too, Royal Gala or Stark Delicious one (red, you know, more dark/gothic/whatever). But that bastard is a rotten one and proud of it (”poisoned to my rotten core, too fucked up to care anymore”). You tried it once ‘cause looked fine and then you’re contaminated. Forever.

No cure known yet for any of them. You two, fuckers xD
