Pink
…aka that book where “Mr. Arroyo” is mentioned from page 4 and, oh, surprise for me, also an unexpected mention to “Tony”, the rock star from “Cream Spinanch”.
I’ll tell you when I finish it (I read slowly, even in Spanish, so imagine in English).
Pic from “Damned” (Chuck Palahniuk)
1) Emily asks later if Corey Haim is seeing anybody, LOL.
2) Of course you’re not dating him, my little Madison, he’s waiting for me! ;-)
A night in the life of Jimmy Reardon (1988)
More kisses, because she = we all, and hey, because I love books. This is one of the best frames of the movie (#1 is the Huxley quote xD)
He’s so adorable.
RIVER BOOKS (4): JAPAN - LONELY
Title: “Lonely Boy. River Phoenix”.
Author: Several phographers.
Type: Photographs + text
Technical info: 1994, 112 pages, Japanese, 26 X 18 cm, 580 gr, softcover.
Available now? Used ones eBay (3).
Translated versions? Nope.
The pics: As all the Japanese ones, very good (and sexy) ones. Besides it has those cute drawings, awww.
The text: No fucking idea ‘cause I don’t understand Japanese: it could say he was a great man or a bitch, but usually Japanese people/authors love him and is a tribute book so I suppose there will be good things there.
Adorable. I’m going to learn Japanese just for these ones xD

RIVER BOOKS (3): LAWRENCE’S BIOGRAPHY
To julicious and everyone that likes to read a bit about the boy.
Title: “In search of River Phoenix”.
Author: Barry Lawrence.
Type: Biography (+B/W pics).
Technical info: 2004, 456 pages, English, 8.8 x 6.9 x 1.2 inches, 1.8 pounds, paperback middle size (“rústica”).
Available now? Used ones on Amazon (2 new, 8 used and Kindle edition), eBay (10 new), Iberlibro/AbeBooks (3). Price varies. No translated editions (at least now or that I know).
The book: Perfect complement to Glatt’s one. Although I always scream because it has some errors (i. e. the Lestat/Louis thing) or “silly” things for me (astrology, reading palms) is a very complete book. A lot of info and research there, quotes from different people, curious good & bad things (more than the typical info), rare pics, different PoVs… and a great time line :)
I think it’s a perfect combo with the other one for every fan (real fans, I mean, the ones beyond “the pretty pics” thing). Again, an emotional rollercoaster.
(pic = scan of mine while it was OK… my cats played a bit with the cover xD)
RIVER BOOKS (2): DENING’S ALBUM
Author: Penelope Dening + several phographers.
Type: Photographs + text
Technical info: 1996, 80 pages, English, 11.1 x 8.9 x 0.4 inches, 13.6 ounces, paperback.
Available now? New and used ones on Amazon (4+15), eBay (3).
Translated versions? Nope.
The pics: Very good ones. Yeah, the typical ones, but the typical ones are the typical for something. And I like to have them in paper format. I leave you 10 of the 40 of them in this photoset.
The text: I was surprised because usually the pics ones have no deep comments. Obviously it can’t reach the details of the biographies, but it talks about both good amazing things and not so good ones (him or his people/environment). Quite critic for being a photography one.
I love it.
Glatt’s biography covers
Left: typical one
Middle: lost edition, hardcover one.
Right: lost edition, paperback one.
