I don’t post here anymore, but 2012 ended and I wanted to write this here although is even hard for me.

In the 2 years I posted in this tumblr I lived a lot of things and met a lot of people, some amazing ones and others that… let’s say I prefer remember only the good moments. There was one special: thanks to this silly tumblr I met a person that literally saved my life.

I like a lot of the people that helped me here, with good advices or making me laugh/happy/quiet/whatever but… you are at another level. I’m in debt to you. I’m here, in 2013, because of you. No one on internet cared so much about me (except E.) and not a lot of “RL people” either. I didn’t give you anything and you… well :)

I always say I just have 6 friends, real Friends, with capital F. Consider yourself the 7th. When someone asks you about the things you achieved in your life, besides a million things you can say (I’m sure) you can include you saved a life. Just that. Thanks. In private. In public. Everywhere. THANKS.

They always mention Brazil as one of his biggest obsessions, but there were others: Allen ones, Gandhi and a lot more, and if I remember well, in that ‘not official pure-gold source’ it’s mentioned Eraserhead… allow me to check it again ‘cause now I’m in doubt if it was that one by Lynch or Videodrome by Cronenberg, I just remember I thought “man… you WERE weird” (I am too, I know, I like them both xD).

Also in that ‘source’ it’s mentioned his ~~obsession~~ fascination with Barrymore family (adorable surprise for me, ah) but I don’t know if it was about John, Lionel, Drew (or any of their movies) or the fact of being a Hollywood saga (maybe this, as an inspiration?). I need to re-read that. It’s all crazy&blurry in my head xD

In Dark Blood, I can't help noticing that River's hairline is completely different. Do you think he was losing his beautiful hair? :( He looks shockingly thin and frail too... just wasn't himself. :(

Hair: it was because of the role, he was like that, everything for his acting. I think he would have had amazing hair until… let’s say 30 or 35. After that, hey, a man after all, good hair but more discrete, not that Pantene commercial thing. And then a lot of fans would have been like with DiCaprio (and his pounds). But a lot of us would be still here xD

Thin: ahhh, I know, that fucker… the artichokes. I have no words to express how much I envy him. NO. WORDS. Really. But maybe (and just maybe) the hair was also in part because of his ‘just fucking artichokes and corn’ phase (if I remember well, it was those days). So hair. And nails. You know.

Frail: he looks frail, as almost always did, but look closer. It’s like in ROE: he looks fragile but then no shirt and is a HOLY-MOTHER-OF-GOD-THOSE-ARMS. In Dark blood he’s thinner than there, maybe more like in Mosquito era, but the arms are pure fibre(?) solid muscle(?). Look, look here. He always looked a bit frail because of his face, eyes and those things, but I’m quite sure that if he wouldn’t have been so pacifist, he could have… I don’t know how to say this in English (sorry): “podría haber dado hostias como panes”. Basically. Thanks God he was a quiet boy xD

Like I could spend a hundred dollars on photos on him and just gaze at them. It’s just amazing how photogenic he was. I dare someone to find me an awkward picture of River. Not a screencap but like a candid or something. A literal photograph. And you have to admit ‘River Phoenix’ does have a certain zap about it.
